Before the pandemic, we had already chosen Willen Hospice to be our next Charity of the Year. Apart from being an amazing local charity, we had a particular reason for wanting to help them raise funds.

25th Birthday Party
The Winslow Concert Band celebrated their 25th Birthday in style yesterday at a party they held in Tomkins Park, Winslow.
And the Charity of the Year is…
Every year Band members nominate and then vote for a charity that we are going to support for the forthcoming year. We do this both by playing at fundraisers they are organising, also by raising money ourselves through bucket collections and at our annual concert. This year our Charity of the Year will be Fight Bladder Cancer.
It’s Showtime!
Following the success of last year’s event, our annual concert “It’s Showtime” (9th March 2019) will follow a similar format. Winslow Concert Band, in conjunction with the the Winslow Anglo French Twinning Association (WAFTA) invites you to relax in a cafe style atmosphere, listen to some great music, enjoy delicious cheese and wine, and take part in our quiz. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to our Charity of the Year, The Puzzle Centre.
