If you are looking for some music at an event you are organising, we would love to hear from you!
In the past we have played at a wide variety of events and venues:
- summer fetes and local / agricultural shows;
- charity events;
- private parties;
- air shows;
- army mess dinners;
- on band stands;
- in parades on the back of a flatbed lorry!
- in market places and shopping centres;
- on the corner of the street…
And if we haven’t done it before we are open to suggestions!
Our requirements
To perform at your event we will need chairs for 20-30 players (the exact number will be confirmed with you nearer the time) and a minimum space of around 15m x 15m in which to perform. We have blocks to prevent chairs from sinking into soft ground, so if this may be an issue please let us know and we will make sure we bring them. We will also require power for our bass guitarist. If we are playing outside it is best if we have some sort of cover: not only does this protect us from the odd shower, but a roof also helps to project the sound further. Please note that we are unable to play in rain due to the risk of damage to our instruments.
Playing arrangements
We generally ask that the Band plays up to three sets of music each lasting 30-50 minutes, and that the breaks between sets do not exceed 45 minutes. If you require anything different to this, please mention it in your enquiry and we will try to accommodate your needs.
Charges
We generally charge £280 to play at an event, assuming the time we are required to attend does not exceed around 4 hours. However, this may be reduced for events supporting small local charities.
