Robin Rowland is a member of the trumpet / cornet section.
“I played the trumpet for a couple of years at school, and then picked it up again about 10 years ago. I also play the ukulele with the U3A Bobcats in Buckingham. My favourite instrument to play is the trumpet, but I like to listen to the piano.
“I have been in the Band since 2011. I remember being nervous at my first rehearsal, but this was soon overcome by the help and support I got from others around me. I particularly enjoy the camaraderie of playing in the Band together with the sense of achievement when we deliver a piece of music as it should be played.
“As well as playing the trumpet and ukulele, I enjoy golf, bowls, bridge and snooker.”
