Who are we?

Tina Mitchell joined the Band as a flautist, played the trumpet for a while, but can now be found in the French horn section! She can also be found waggling the stick on occasions!

Rob Richards leaves the garbage of work (pun intended!) behind at the office to play the trombone and organise the odd(!) social event.

Chris Wignall takes a break from his job as a software engineer in the Formula One industry to play clarinet in the Band.

Sam Horton is a primary school teacher by day. He joined the Band relatively recently and is our lead trumpeter.

Annie Cooper joined the Band along with her husband Peter after finding out about it at a BBC “Play it Again” day in Watford. She initially played the Bb clarinet, but migrated to the bass clarinet a few years ago.

Colin Poyntz takes a break from his busy role as Pastor of Winslow Christian Fellowship to play drums and percussion in Winslow Concert Band – and can he give them welly!
