Strike Up The Band

Early in January 2007, the Band recorded its first CD "Strike Up The Band". It was a very exhausting but nevertheless enjoyable day.

The Band procured the services of Philip Whittaker of Mobile Recording Services, an ex BBC producer who happens to live locally, to record the CD. With his expert guidance, and along with our MD Paul How, the Band played tirelessly and managed to keep the enthusiasm going all day.

Valentine's Concert 2009

In 2009 the Band made its first live recording at their Winter concert giving Band members double the excuse for performance nerves! This was on 14th February - Valentine's Day - and there was a definite attempt to include something of a love theme through the programme. Once again Philip Whittaker of Mobile Recording Services did the recording honours and produced a good record of the concert.

Winter Concert 2010

For our next concert the Band took another step into the unknown and made a DVD of the evening. This time Malcolm Down made the recording, sharing the cramped space of the lighting box with a very patient lighting engineer. He gave his services to raise money for Milton Keynes charity Spectrum Arts MK.
